The Zlin Region is an administrative unit in the Czech Republic. It is known for its advanced industries as well as the Tomas Bata University, named after a local businessman and thought leader, Tomas Bata. Sometimes nicknamed "Czech Henry Ford", Bata turned the humble village of Zlin into the region's American-style capital and laid the foundation of Czech filmmaking, animation, design, and advertising. Since the Velvet Revolution, the region has faced challenges such as low salaries and a declining population.
In 2021, the local government decided to pitch a rebranding for the region to bring a new future to the area.
The agency won this prestigious tender to work on the project on three levels: strategic, creative, and executional.
