Ambitious client planned to introduce into the European market a new range of organic, high quality syrups based on a traditional recipe. We were asked to design the bottle’s logo and label in a way that would appeal across cultures and borders — the product would launch in the Czech Republic, and subsequently in Germany, Scandinavia, Slovakia, Hungary, Lithuania and Poland.


Providing the client with two versions of the syrup’s logo and packaging. One with a concept of “Your Granny’s Favourite”, with a primarily visual approach, and the other promoting a refined, vintage look and feel. The latter was eventually chosen for its closer affinity with the product’s character.


With client’s sales growing steadily, what was at first a mere ad hoc cooperation has evolved into a long-term strategic partnership in branding, packaging, digital, copywriting and translation, and photography.
